BEIJING, Sept. 9-- Taiwan boy band Mayday debuted their new album in China."Contentment" is a selection of 15 popular songs from their previous albums.

A press conference was held in Beijing on Thursday and the five-member group performed the title track from the album with some of the fans at the promotional event.

The lead singer A-Xin said the title of the album"Contentment" showed their thankfulness to their fans for their long-term support since the band entered the spotlight in 1999.

He also announced that 6 new singles were made for the collection album, and one of the singles,"Kipper", was inspired from the dialogue of Hong Kong star Stephen Chow's film"Shaolin Soccer": if a person has no dreams, he is the same as kipper.
