HONG KONG, Oct. 12 (AP) -- Hong Kong actress Charlie Young cried for six hours while filming a death bed scene with Andy Lau in their new film "All About Love," a newspaper reported Wednesday.
The movie was the most emotionally taxing in Young's movie career, the Apple Daily newspaper reported.
"Every time I cry, I let out all my sad emotions. It was like my whole person collapsed. Sometimes I thought about things in the past. It was very difficult," Young was quoted as saying.
In "All About Love," Lau plays a doctor who loses his wife to a car accident and later falls in love with the woman who receives her organs in a transplant. Young plays Lau's second love interest. Young reportedly said the hard work paid off.
"The good thing is quite a few reporters were touched to tears after watching the movie, which gives me a sense of accomplishment," she said, according to the report.
Young made her name as a pop star in the 1990s but took a break from the entertainment industry. She has mounted a comeback, appearing in ads and Tsui Hark's kung fu epic "Seven Swords."
