BEIJING, Oct. 25-- Justin Timberlake came to the defense of his former girlfriend, Britney Spears, Monday, when he criticized the person responsible for putting unauthorized photographs of Spears and her infant son, Sean Preston Federline, on the Internet last week.

"It's a little crazy," Timberlake tells Access Hollywood."When a person like her, who's obviously a sweet person, is having their first child, it's like,'leave the girl alone, let her have the baby!'"

"I do think that's crossing the line," he adds."That's her baby and those are her baby pictures."

The dust-up began late last week, when pictures of her and husband Kevin Federline's son surfaced on several Internet sites, prompting Spears's reps to threaten legal action.

"Anyone who publishes, sells or otherwise exploits any of these images in any way will be subject to liability and damages for willful infringement of copyright, and will be liable for invasion of privacy," said a statement released by Spears's record label, Jive Records.

One site, TangibleBrit.com, quickly pulled the photos and replaced them with a large, one-word mea culpa:"Sorry." The apology then read, in part:"I did not steal the images¡K To Britney, Kevin, Sean, Jive Records, SONYBMG, and anyone else affected by this: I am deeply sorry for any pain I have caused you."

Other sites, including WorldOfBritney.com and BritneySpears.org, posted the images and later pulled them.

Spears and husband Kevin Federline became parents Sept. 14. The couple recently made their first public appearance, but photos of their son have not been made public.(Source: CRIENGLISH.com)
