SHANGHAI, June 4 -- A COURT has found an Internet Cafe owner may have been partially responsible for the sudden death of a 15-year-old boy who played online games in the premise for two successive days.

Minhang District People's Court has ordered the cafe owner to pay compensation of more than 80,000 yuan (US$10,390) to the parents of the student. On August 30, 2006, the boy, Qin Yi, suffered from a headache after his marathon games session. He collapsed at the cafe and died from cerebral hemorrhage.
