SHANGHAI, June 22 -- A COUPLE in Sichuan Province may need to change their "audacious attitude" as neighbors complained the two never drew the curtains while having sex.

A neighbor complained to Chengdu Evening News yesterday that he felt embarrassed when he saw the couple, who live on the fourth floor opposite his flat, were having sex with the lights on and the curtain open.

"I felt so awkward and immediately closed my curtains," said the resident, whose name was not given in the article.

"This is not the first time I've seen them like that," the man said. "The two seem to enjoy being naked at home."

"Many neighbors feel uneasy about it as we have kids," he added.

He said he planned to tell the couple to be a little more "cautious" but soon abandoned the idea as "it was too difficult to start such a conversation."

Buildings in the neighborhood were less than 30 meters apart, thus, neighbors can see almost everything in opposite apartments if the lights are on, the newspaper said.

The couple, both around the age of 30, told the newspaper that they had no choice but to leave the windows open because it was too hot and that their curtains were broken.

The host promised he would fix the curtains as soon as possible.
