Death roll rises to 25 in karaoke blast

SHANGHAI, July 5 -- THE death roll from a blast at a karaoke parlor in northeast China has increased to 25 today with 33 other people injured, Xinhua news agency reported.

Authorities in Liaoning Province are still investigating what caused the blast last night in Tianshifu Township.

Rescuers have already finished clearing debris at the scene, the report added.
