BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhuanet) -- U.S. rocker Ozzy Osbourne was recovering from a "minor outpatient procedure" in Denver, his management company said on Sunday.

Osbourne was in Denver Saturday night for Ozzfest. His management team confirmed he had the outpatient procedure at Rose Medical Center Saturday night.

His ailment was not disclosed, but NBC affiliate KUSA-TV reported on its Web site that Osbourne underwent surgery for a blood clot on Saturday night following a show. He had complained of leg pain for most of the day, KUSA said.

His company said he is doing well and was released early Sunday.

He's now in Kansas City preparing to headline Ozzfest there Monday.

Osbourne, who rose to fame in the 1970s as vocalist with heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath, is headlining the annual Ozzfest tour.
