SHANGHAI, Aug. 15 -- Quanyi Education Consulting Co has teamed up with the city's Charity Foundation to set up a fund to provide books to poor, migrant students. The Zhiai Reading Growing & Love Fund will be used to buy new books for such children while residents can donate unwanted or second-hand books to the fund, the two announced at a ceremony at this year's Book Fair at Shanghai Mart this morning. People can also exchange used books for new ones with the fund, which is a part of a mobile neighborhood library project. The fund will be supervised by the foundation and donations are also welcome. Shanghai Art and Literature Publishing Co offered 100,000 yuan (US$13,193) worth of books to the fund today. The books will be given to Yuying and Xinxing primary schools in Yangpu District.
