BEIJING, Sept. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- Almost, but not quite lost in the hullabaloo of the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas was a bit of information that ended months of speculation: the title of next summer's "Indiana Jones" movie is "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Presenter Shia LaBeouf, co-star of the new film, announced the title on stage at the Palms casino. Last month, Lucasfilm registered six possible titles with the MPAA, including "Indiana Jones and the City of Gods," "Indiana Jones and the Destroyer of Worlds," "Indiana Jones and the Fourth Corner of the Earth," "Indiana Jones and the Lost City of Gold" and "Indiana Jones and the Quest of the Covenant." The title was confirmed at the film's official website, which also posted the logo. The film, which will return Harrison Ford to one of his most famous roles, will also star Karen Allen, Jim Broadbent, John Hurt and Ray Winstone. It will be released on May 22, 2008. (Agencies)
