BEIJING, Jan. 29 -- In future it will not be strange to see a bus driver leaving his vehicle with his passengers on board to take a nap.

It is a new measure by police in Chongqing municipality to lower traffic accidents caused by fatigued drivers, especially long-distance bus drivers.

During the Spring Festival holiday police in the municipality will send text messages to drivers reminding them to obey traffic regulations and pay attention to safety.

Rest rooms have also been set up at certain locations for long-distance drivers to take naps.
