Chinese Stories tell cultural heritage, folk custom

Located in the north of city axes of Beijing, Olympic Green Common Domain (OCD) is the biggest venue cluster as well as the "core zone" of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

There are 10 venues and 7 non-competition venues including National Stadium, nicknamed the "Bird's nest" , National Aquatics Center, nicknamed the "Water Cube", Fencing Hall of National Convention Center, Main Press Center and International Broadcast Center. Besides, water system in the shape of dragon, sculptures, sunken garden, Olympic Partner exhibition area and Chinese stories show area with traditional Chinese culture elements also can be seen in OCD.

Over 30 "Lucky Cloud Houses" in the Chinese stories show area show cultural heritage and folk custom in different regions of China. Performances including vocal concert, folk song and dance gala and Beijing Olympics mascot "Fuwa" show will be presented during the Olympic Games. Athletes, visitors and journalists from all over the world may enjoy the high-level sports competition as well as the rich and colorful Chinese culture displayed in OCD.
