Here is a western-style structure inlaid with a Chinese antithetical couplet featuring the theme World Harmony Begins in the Neighborhood. Its exterior design, full of dynamism and energy, inspires imaginations of people cheerfully dancing and stepping forward to Shanghai hand by hand. Inside, the walls and the dome unfold a magnificent scene of sunrise and rosy glow, symbolizing a bright and promising future of SCO.

Highlight 1: The birth place of SCO - Yi Xing Pavilion of Xijiao State Guest Hotel Shanghai is presented.
Highlight 2: The 11.1-meter-long golden relief on the floor records the milestones in SCO's history and exhibits territories of its member states.

Incorporating 22 stands, the pavilion present the image of ancient and modern Arab cities and the Arabs' aspirations for the future, focusing on various aspects of life in ancient cities including culture, architecture, lifestyle, natural resources, trade and economy. It depicts the urbanization progress of 22 ancient cities and the influence of historical changes in the Arabian life.
