Car show models faint

Low oxygen supply is felling showroom models in Beijing's auto expo, health professionals said in a Legal Mirror report yesterday. Exhaustion and a dip in blood sugar from working long hours also contributed, according to experts.

Staff fainting is the most common situation paramedics have responded to at the annual car show in Shunyi district, the newspaper quoted Dr Liu Hongwei of Beijing Emergency Medical Center as saying. Visitors also faint in the crowded, hot exhibition halls, the doctor noted.
