"Transformers: Armada" to hit cinemas this year

BEIJING, Mar. 16-- The new film"Transformers: Armada" is expected to hit cinemas this year.

Adapted from the classic 80's cartoon series"Transformers", the film will transform slightly for the big screen and be played by real actors.

The screenplay writer for"X-Men" will produce the script under the supervision of heavyweight Hollywood director Steven Spielberg.

The film tells the story of a battle between good and evil, with the well-know figure of Optimus Prime as the leader off the good and just.
