15 years ago returns to the big screen this week with the romantic comedy

BEIJING, May 13-- Jane Fonda, who appeared in a feature film 15 years ago returns to the big screen this week with the romantic comedy Monster-in-Law.
The film is directed by Robert Luketic and co-starring Jennifer Lopez. Fonda stars as Viola, a self-centered, meddlesome mother who determines to keep her son from marrying his new fiancee Charlotte who is played by Jennifer Lopez.
Viola, a television journalist, attempts a series of crazy schemes to break up the happy couple. When those ploys don't work, Viola fakes illness to gain sympathy. And like any good son, Kevin asks Charlotte to accommodate his mom.
Of course, Kevin has to go on a business trip and leave Viola convalescing at home with Charlotte. And of course Charlotte catches on to her conniving ways. Then they go to war.
Lopez plays Charlie Cantilini, a woman who, after years of dating disasters, finally manages to land Mr. Right.
Fonda, whose last film,"Stanley& Iris," was released 15 years ago. Enditem
