BEIJING, May 27 -- As Children's Day draws near, the quality of toys has once again aroused attention from many.

The China Consumers' Association exhibited over 20 problematic toys on the market. Experts are invited to instruct parents on the hidden dangers of these substandard toys.

Beijing Youth Daily reports that the substandard toys include woolen toys, electric toys, toys that shoot, and toy carts. These toys having problems in either design or instructions can easily hurt babies by stabbing their skin or causing them to choke.

Experts suggest that parents be more cautious when choosing a toy for their child. They should inspect the design, thoroughly read the instructions and the information, and try to compare the same product from different manufactures to select the best.
