Nicollette Sheridan& Michael Bolton A spokeswoman for the actress had confirmed the news, according to the magazine.

The couple, who rekindled their romance last year after Sheridan's split from fianc谷 Nicklas Soderblom, dated for several years in the early'90s.

Sheridan, 42, reportedly wore a huge rock on her left hand at a post-Oscar party earlier this month, but when asked if she had an announcement to make only answered coyly:"No. Do you?"

Asked about engagement rumours in January, Bolton, 52, told the press:"Nicollette and I are very serious about each other... I am very committed.

This will be the second marriage for both Sheridan and Bolton.

She was married to LA Law actor Harry Hamlin in 1991 and separated from him the following year.

Bolton was married to Maureen McGuire, the mother of his three children, between 1975 and 1990.

It's been a wild year and half for Sheridan. With the help of a small show called Desperate Housewives, in which Sheridan plays sexually-domineering Edie Britt, she made a huge career comeback.
