The movie stars Shia LaBeouf as a teen who becomes convinced his neighbor is a serial killer. Another thriller "Fracture" starring Anthony Hopkins as a devious murderer who matches wits with a young district attorney debuted in the number-two spot with a 11.2-million-dollar take, according to box-office tracker Exhibitor Relations. "Blades of Glory," an ice skating romp from Paramount, was in the third place with 7.8 million dollars. Horror flick "Vacancy," with Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson, opened in fourth place after earning 7.6 million. In fifth place was the computer-animated family film, "Meet The Robinsons," with 7.1 million dollars. Police comedy "Hot Fuzz," opened in sixth place after earning 5.8 million. Sony's family comedy starring Ice Cube, "Are We Done Yet?" the sequel to "Are We There Yet?" took the seventh spot with 5.2 million dollars. Independent romance "In the Land of Women," starrring Adam Broady,was the last to open in the top 10, debuting at number eight with 4.9 million in ticket sales. Rounding out the top 12 were "Perfect Stranger" (4.1 million), "Wild Hogs" (2.9 million), "300" (2.3 million) and "Pathfinder" (1.7 million). (Agencies)
