Xinjiang Mukam Arts Ensemble stages the grand evening show entitled "Spring of Mukam" to spectators from home and abroad from July 29 to 31.

Uyghur Mukam Opera of Xinjiang, an artistic essence merging music, verse, literature, dancing, history and folklore into a single whole, is a collective term of various Mukams popular in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region. Existing Uyghur Mukam is of multiple and different styles and varieties, including 12 sets of Mukams popular in Kashi, Hotan, Aksu and Ili of Xinjiang, known as "Twelve Mukams Opera", and other forms of Mukam, such as Daolang Mukam, Hami Mukam and Turpan Mukam.
