The ancient commercial street in Shanhaiguan, which dates back to China's Qing (1644-1911) and Ming (1368-1644) dynasties, will reopen to the public soon. Shanhaiguan, or literally the "Mountain and Sea Pass", was once the most important stronghold of China and the first pass of the Great Wall built during the Ming Dynasty.
