The powder painting Leifeng Pagoda, initiated by Cai Guoqiang, an artist specilizing in creating art by powder blast on canvas, paper or wooden board, is painted through igniting delicately-arranged powder blast points. Cai Guoqiang is famous for his powder art design of 29 footprints in the sky during the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
