Sun-Drop Diamond, the largest yellow pear-shaped diamond in the world, was auctioned for $12.36 million in Geneva on Tuesday, creating a new record price for a yellow diamond.
The 110.03 carat gem, which was first found in South Africa in 2010, was bought by a businessman.
