Shell proposes to develop Iran's Kish gas field

TEHRAN, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Royal Dutch Shell has presented its development proposal for Iran's Kish gas field in the Persian Gulf, Financial Tribune daily reported on Wednesday.

Hans Nijkamp, vice president of Shell, elaborated on the development plan in a meeting with the Iranian energy officials on Tuesday.

In December 2016, Shell signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Iranian Oil Company to conduct technical studies on the field.

Shell also submitted last month a proposal for developing Azadegan and Yadavaran oilfields in southern Iran.
