China's largest and most advanced maritime patrol boat, the "Sea Patrol 31," hits water off Guangdong's Zhanjiang, Mar. 22.

The patrol boat is 112 meters in length and 14 meters in width, with a displacement of 3,500 tons. It mainly patrols across the South China Sea, the lifeline of China's energy, resources and container transportation.
