Performers rehearse on the set for the first ever theatrical stage presentation of Warner Bros classic film Casablanca at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, April 6, 2005.

The show makes its world premier in Beijing Friday and according to organizers marks the first time a classic feature film has been made into a non-verbal musical theatrical show.

Dancers from the Los Angeles Dance Theater and the Beijing Dance Academy are taking part in the production, with sets and costumes mostly made in China.
