Chinese workers clean up debris at a construction site in China's capital Beijing, September 6, 2005.

A scaffolding at the construction site of an office building collapsed in a commercial area in central Beijing in the late hours of Monday, killing at least three people and injuring 21, the Xinhua news agency reported on Tuesday.
