In an effort to build awareness of Olympic ideals ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Chinese authorities are encouraging schools to adopt sports and educational programs that tie into the Olympics.

Students at the school can select the sports they want to participate during physical education periods, with activities ranging from traditional Chinese sports like wushu to hip-hop dancing.
