Chinese shooters finish one-two in women's trap

DOHA, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- China's Chen Li won the women's trap event with a total of 89 hits here on Saturday at the 15th Asiad.

Chen, World Championship runner-up, hit 69 targets out of 75 in the qualification round and 20 out of 25 in the final round, taking the first individual gold medal of the Asian Games.

Her compatriot Zhu Mei and Lin Yi Chun of Chinese Taipei both finished at 80 hits and Zhu Mei edged Lin by 1-0 in the shoot off to take the silver medal. Lin Yi Chun had to settle for the third place.
