DOHA, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Ace paddler Wang Nan led a strong run from China to outclass their Singapore opponents in the women's team final to restore the Asian Games honor for the Chinese team in the table tennis tournament of the 2006 Doha Asiad.

Wang overcame a first set over-cautel to beat Sun Bei Bei 9-11,11-7, 11-8, 11-8, before Guo Yan and Guo Yue followed to beat Li Jia Wei and Tan Paey Fern 3-1 and 3-0 respectively.

The 3-0 victory erased the bad memory of Chinese female paddlers in Busan 2002 when the world champions suffered a shock 3-1 defeat to DPR Korea to lose the Asiad title for the first time in a decade.
