DOHA, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese duo Li Zhen and Lin Miao added to China's gold count by winning in the men's K2 1,000m of canoe and kayak competition at the Doha Asian Games here on Monday.

Li and Lin went through a stiff race to wrap up the victory in three minutes and 56.423 seconds.

Iran's Abbas Sayadi Kachalki and Reza Reisi took the silver in 3:58.491 while former Asian Games gold medalist Yevgeniy Alexeyev and his partner Alexey Podoinikov of Kazakhstan walked away with a bronze in 3:59.343.
