DOHA, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- China continued its unbeaten streak on the day four of diving competition by winning both the men's and women's 3m springboard titles at the 15th Asian Games here on Wednesday.

Wu Minxia and He Zi, winner and silver medalist in the women's 1m springboard on Dec. 12, repeated the feat by winning in 371.85 and 366.90 points respectively.

Wu, who beat Chinese Olympic champion Guo Jingjing to win both the Grand Prix Super Final and World Cup, said that "it should be a perfect performance but I did some mistake in the entry of the water in my last dive. I was too eager to start the dive without deep thinking."

He Zi, 16, said that "my performance is normal expect the third dive of back 2 and 1/2 somersault. It is my first big event and it seemed that I still have a lot of aspects to improve. "

In the men's 3m springboard, He Chong scored a day-high 100.70 points for his last dive forward 2-1/2 somersault twist, claiming the title in 530.40 points while his teammate Luo Yutong came back from a splash in the fifth round to take the silver in 488.95.

Japan's 26-year-old Ken Terauchi and Malaysia's Yeoh Ken Nee finished third and fourth in 431.55 and 478.95, respectively.

He, who had a gold together with Wang Feng in the men's 3m synchronized, said that "my highest score came from the most difficult dive. But I think my performance in the morning preliminary was better than the final."

The last two diving events of the Asian Games will be held on Dec. 14 as the Chinese are likely to claim another one-two in both the men's and women's 10m platforms. China already bagged eight golds on offer.
