A view of Turtle Island, 10km (six miles) off the coast of Ilan, Taiwan, July 16, 2008. Turtle Island, which gets its name from its shape, is expected to be an attraction for Chinese mainland tourists after regular flights between Taiwan and mainland China begin, according to local officials. The volcanic islet is less than 3km long (around 2 miles) and rises up to around 400 metres.
