Chinese sweep mixed doubles semi-final berths at WTTC

¡@SHANGHAI, May 3(Xinhuanet)-- Chinese swept the semi-final spots at the mixed doubles competition of the world table tennis championships here on Wednesday.

Qiu Yike/Cao Zhen edged out Wang Hao/Wang Nan 4-3 and Liu Guozheng/Bai Yang routed Hao Shuai and Niu Jianfeng in four sets in the all-Chinese quarter-finals.

Chinese Yan Sen and Guo Yue defeated Japanese Seiya Kishikawa and Ai Fujinuma 4-1, while another Chinese pair Wang Liqin and GuoYue whitewashed Werner Schlager and Liu Jia from Austria 4-0. Enditem
