Henry may leave Arsenal, Gullit says
2005-11-17 04:56:53 Xinhua English
LONDON, Nov. 16(Xinhuanet)-- Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit said on Wednesday that Thierry Henry is expected to leave Arsenal, probably for Barcelona.

The Dutchman has spoken openly about the French striker and believes it is time the 28-year-old sampled a fresh challenge in a new country.

As Henry stalls on signing a new deal with the Gunners, Gullit suspects last season's top Premiership goalscorer is seriously thinking about a move.

"I can see again that he came back from a major injury," he told Sky Sports News."Immediately, he comes in and scores goal," he said.

"It means he is something special. We'd like to see him more inThe Premiership but I don't think it's going to happen.

"I don't know, maybe he is going abroad. It's just a feeling[maybe] he wants to see as a player, travel around, see what it isto play in another league.

"I'm from Holland. I went to Italy and then to England. The experiences are the most important experiences in my life.

"The fans would not be happy about it but it's also about you as a person. If you get opportunities to go abroad and see other championships, you can't blame him for that. I think Barcelona will fit him also," he added. Enditem
