CAIRO, Feb. 7(Xinhuanet)-- Thanks to Ahmed Hassan penalty and Amr Zaki's goal, hosts Egypt edged Senegal 2-1 here on Tuesday to advance to the final of the African Nations Cup. Hassan scored from the spot in the 36th minute to gift the hosts a 1-0 lead. However, a header from Senegal's Mamadou Niang equalized six minutes into the second half.
