JAKARTA, March 9(Xinhuanet)-- Indonesia's unbeaten WBA featherweight champion Chrisjohn will receive a"special award" from President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, an official said here Thursday.

"The president has asked the minister of youth and sports to arrange a meeting with Chrisjohn," said Djohar Arifin Husin, deputy minister of youth and sports.

Djohar didn't elaborate the kind of award for Chrisjohn.

Chrisjohn, 37-1-0(19 KOs), was paid 90,000 US dollars when he defended his WBA title last week with a unanimous decision against Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez in Indonesia's Kalimantan.

Having scooped the title in December 2004, Chrisjohn's most fights have been in Indonesia, and he has beaten top fighters like Derrick Gainer and Oscar Leon. Enditem
