JAKARTA, April 15(Xinhua)-- The 15th Asian Games(AG) torch is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on October 28 as part of its trip across Asia prior to the opening of the Games in Qatar. "The torch will be shown to the public in a parade the following day(Oct. 29)," Usa Sutrisna, who is helping to organizethe torch parade, was quoted by Antara news agency as saying. "Jakarta was chosen as one of the Asian cities for the AG torchtrip because Jakarta hosted the AG in 1962," he added. The parade, which is expected to involve 100 runners, will begin at Bung Karno Stadium in Central Jakarta, before heading forJl. Sudirman, Jl. MH Thamrin, the National Museum, the Jakarta City Council building and Jl. Merdeka Utara, and then returned to the stadium. Other destinations in the torch relay include New Delhi, Busan,Manila, Hiroshima, Beijing, Guangzhou, Macau, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Teheran, Dubai and Manama. Enditem Editor:
