BRUSSELS, Feb. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Away fans will be banned from watching ADO Den Haag versus Ajax Amsterdam games for the next five years after an attack on the ADO clubhouse last week.

The Mayor of The Hague announced the ban in a statement on Wednesday after discussions between both clubs and cities after 70 Ajax supporters stormed the ADO clubhouse near the Zuiderpark Stadium and attacked 12 fans who were there on Friday night.

Eight ADO fans were injured, including two with stab wounds, and police immediately set up motorway road blocks and arrested 10 Ajax supporters, who are still being held.

Following Friday's attack Ajax supporters were banned from attending last Sunday's match with ADO in The Hague, which their team won 2-1. The five-year ban runs through the 2010-11 season. Enditem
