China can deliver "best" Women's World Cup, Blatter

MUNICH, June 5 (Xinhua) -- FIFA president Sepp Blatter said here on Monday that China can host the best Women's World Cup in 2007 and soccer tournament of the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Speaking at a news conference following a two-day meeting of the FIFA's executive committee, Blatter said: "I trust China can not only try their utmost to host the two events, but they can do it best."

He added: "We have wonderful contact with the Chinese organizers, including the Organizing Committee of the Beijing Olympic Games, the Chinese Football Association and the Chinese government.

"I am sure that the Women's World Cup and the Olympic Games will be well organized." Enditem
