The 24-year-old Zhang, world number one famous for her stable technique and mentality, has never lost a single game to any defensive player in world-ranking contests. Today's match against Pavlovich was simply no exception, when Zhang came through the match 4-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-8, 11-6).
