BRUSSELS, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Italian Francesca Schiavone put an end to Agnieszka Radwanska's giant-killing run on Saturday, beating the teenage Polish qualifier to reach the final of the Luxembourg Championship tennis.
The fifth seed denied a coming back from the 17-year-old Radwanska, holding off a second-set fight back and winning 7-5, 2-6,6-1.
Radwanska, the world number 95, had beaten former world number one Venus Williams and top seed Elena Dementieva on her way to her first career WTA Tour semi-final.
In the other semifinal match up, Ukrainian Alona Bondarenko rallied past Czech Kveta Peschke 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 to set up a Final clash against Schiavone. Enditem
