LONDON, April 15 (Xinhua) -- James McFadden scored in injury time to earn Everton a 2-1 win over Charlton in a dramatic Premier League clash on Sunday.

The Scot flicked the ball up and fired home from 20 yards to settle a tie that had seen three goals in 10 minutes.

Tottenham Hotspur came from behind three times to draw 3-3 at Wigan Athletic in the day's other league game.

Everton looked to seal a UEFA Cup spot as they moved into fifth spot with the three points and Charlton were kept inside the drop zone.

In-form Everton apparently controlled the game throughout at Goodison Park but could not break the deadlock until in the 80th minute. Joleon Lescott swept in the rebound after Carson had pulled off a superb stop to keep out Andy Johnson's shot.

An 89th-minute Daren Bent equalizer should have secured a vital point for the relegation fighting Charlton but McFadden incredibly won the game for hosts in the 92nd minute with a sweet volley from outside the box.

A close range header from Emile Heskey put Wigan ahead less than one minute into the match but Spurs equalised three minutes later when Dimitar Berbatove beat two defenders before firing home.

Wigan restored the lead on the half hour when Leighton Baines curled a left-footed volley into the top far corner. Spurs leveled for the second time with a controversial penalty converted by Robbie Keane in the 35th minute.

Kevin Kilbane headed home a corner to lift the hosts 3-2 on the hour mark only for a 68th-minute Keane effort to seal a 3-3 draw.
