Polish, Ukrainian employers pool forces for Euro 2012 soccer

WARSAW, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Support for Poland and Ukraine's organization of the 2012 European Football Championship is the main aim of an Euro 2012 Coalition of Polish and Ukrainian Employers founded Monday by both countries' employer confederations, the Polish PAP news agency reported Tuesday.

The coalition also plans to promote the 2012 championship and its organizing countries.

Euro 2012 will have considerable influence on the host countries' economies, the run-up to the championship will be a time of hard work and ambitious projects.

In this situation cooperation between employers and the government is a must, Confederation of Polish Employers (KPP) president Andrzej Malinowski wrote in a letter informing about the coalition's foundation to Polish PM Jaroslaw Kaczynski.

On last Wednesday, Poland and Ukraine were chosen by UEFA to co-host the European Championship in 2012.
