IOC proposes four new members

GENEVA, May 2 (Xinhua) -- The International Olympic Committee has proposed four people for IOC memberships, the Lausanne-based Olympic ruling body said on Wednesday.

Princess Haya of Jordan, Patrick Baumann of Switzerland, Andres Botero of Colombia and Rita Subowo of Indonesia have been nominated for membership by IOC president Jacques Rogge and the executive board, the IOC said Wednesday.

Their election will take place at the IOC session in Guatemala City in July.
