HONG KONG, May 19 (Xinhua) -- The South China soccer team rocked Happy Valley 3-1 in the final of Hong Kong Football Association Cup to claim the title here on Saturday. The Happy Valley dominated the match with more attacks and ball possession and the South China had to concentrate on defense. But it was Bento Dos Santos who inspired the South China team with a penalty in the 20th minute and Chan Chi-Hong made it 2-0 six minutes later. The Happy Valley came back in the second half as Hamilton Timbira Dias produced a penalty in the 48th minutes and Poon Yiu-Cheuk converted it into a goal. But the South China sparked a revival afterward with more offensives and got rewarded by a goal scored by Cheng Siu-Wai in the 85 minutes with the help of the assists by Santos. It was the second title for South China in the 2006-2007 season as they had won the Hong Kong Soccer League A-Division in April.
