PARIS, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Serbia's sixth seed Novak Djokovic dismissed unseeded Russian Igor Andreev in straight sets 6-3, 6-3,6-3 at Roland Garros to reach his first grand slam semifinal on Wednesday. The 20-year-old, the youngest man left in the draw, is the third man into the French Open semis after Roger Federer and Nikolay Davydenko and will now face either two time defending champion Rafael Nadal or former winner Carlos Moya. Djokovic opened with a nervy start to drop the first serve making three unforced errors, but the Serb, who joins female compatriots Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic in the last four, broke back immediately when Andreev pulled a backhand wide and visibly added stronger momentum into his game. The set went with serve until the eighth game, when the Russian lost concentration and sent a forehand long to drop serve for the second time and allow Djokovic the chance to serve out the set. Djokovic grew in confidence as he continued to challenge Andreev's serve while comfortably holding his own and snatched the second set by the same score as the first. After that, the Serb was never troubled before heading for his semifinal spot.
