BERLIN, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Hamburg SV signed Dutch midfielder Romeo Castelen with a four-year contract from Feyenoord Rotterdam for a transfer fee of three million euros (4.10 million U.S. dollars), the Bundesliga club said on Monday.

Castelen, who signed for a reported 1.6 million euros per season, is the fourth Dutch player on the Hamburg squad after captain Rafael van der Vaart, Joris Mathijsen and Nigel de Jong.

"We're delighted that Romeo has joined us and we're sure that he's going to strengthen us," said HSV sporting director Dietmar Beiersdorfer said on the club's website.
