TOKUSHIMA, Japan, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Led by 223cm center Ha Seung-Jin, South Korea won the hotly contested match against Jordan 70-65 in a quarter-final round match here on Tuesday at the 2007 Asia men's basketball Championship. Ha Seung-Jin collected 21 points and 12 rebounds including eight offense to lead the South Koreans, Yang Hee-Jong had 14 points and Kim Seung-Hyun had 12. "Of course, a player like Ha is a major influence on the outcome of many a game," said Choi Bu Yung, headcoach of South Korea. "And he was in tremendous form today. Jordan's headcoach Mario Palma also said high on Ha's performance. "He caused too many problems for us. He was a nightmare," he said. Rasheim Wright had the game-high 23 points with eight rebounds, but not good enough to stop Ha's dominance under the basket. Sam Daghles and Enver Soobzokov were the other two players who scored more than 10, Daghles had 11 and Soobzokov had 10. Early on Tuesday, Iran defeated Chinese Taipei with 76-64 to remain unbeaten in the tournament so far.
