SHANGHAI, Aug. 10 -- DALIAN Shide rallied from a goal down to beat host Qingdao Zhon-gneng 2-1 yesterday to jump to third place in the Chinese Super League.

Bulgarian Zoran Jankovic scored with a free-kick and gave the assist from which Serbian international Drinic Darko found the net for the equalizer to Nigeria international Benedict Akwuegbu's strike for Qingdao. Dalian now has 25 points, overtaking Shanghai Shenhua (24) into third place, four points adrift of surprise leader Changchun Yatai. On Wednesday, defending champion Shandong Luneng was thrashed 1-6 by Beijing Guo'an.
