YANGZHOU, China, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- China's Wang Hao beat his compatriot Ma Long to capture the men's singles title at the Asiantable tennis championships here on Sunday. "To win the men's singles is my goal and I made it despite the shoulder injury," said Wang. "It was not an easy win." In the quarter-finals, Ma beat South Korea's Ryu Seung Min, thegold medalist at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the men's singles competition. Ma had also teamed up with Hao Shuai to brush aside teammates Wang and Chen Qi, winning the men's doubles title at the championships.
